Doyle Rex Gibson was born May 15, 1928 in Galt, Missouri the son of Robert and Pebble (Sharp) Gibson. He served in the Army during the Korean War. On April 13, 1958 he was united in marriage to Patricia J. Gingerich in Half Rock, Missouri. They lived in Missouri until moving to Arizona in 1964. Doyle worked at Capitol Foundry, retiring in 1993. Doyle died on Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the Friendship Village Hospice Center in Tempe, Arizona at the age of 81 years.
Doyle is survived by his wife Patty of Mesa, Arizona; a daughter Nancy Fink and husband George of Ohio; 2 sons - Robbie and Randy Gibson of Mesa, Arizona; 3 grandchildren; and a great grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents.Messages may be sent to the family at www.powellfuneralhomes.com
