Allen Albert Kemp Jr

Parnell- Allen Albert Kemp Jr. was born December 13, 1959, in Clinton, Iowa. He was a son of Allen Albert & Ramona Pauline (Daehler) Kemp Sr. He attended Williamsburg High School. Al was a dump truck driver for many years for various companies. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, riding motorcycles, spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He never knew a stranger and claimed everyone as his family. Al died on Friday, January 9, 2026, at his home near Parnell, at the age of 66 years.

He is survived by the love of his life Brenda Blakey; children Tucker (Alicia) Kemp of Lone Tree, Michelle (Mathew) Huber of Blairstown, Curtis (Megan) Kemp of Winterhaven, Florida, Richard (Katti) Blakey of Cedar Rapids, Craig (Alana) Blakey-Furler of Lone Tree, Dekota Blakey of Cedar Rapids; numerous grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a sister Linda Kracht of Marion; a brother William Kemp of Cedar Rapids; stepmother Verna Kemp of Cedar Rapids; and mother-in-law Lauretta Furler of Marengo. He was preceded by his parents; and two brothers Floyd Hopkins and Benjamin Kemp.
