Williamsburg- Barbara Ann Bair was born on September 9, 1960, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Helen (Grimm) Bair. She graduated from Williamsburg High School. Barb was a life long resident of the Williamsburg community. She has worked for Colony Village at Little Amana for a number of years. Barb enjoyed collecting coins and camping. Barb died Monday, November 2, 2009 at her home after a sudden illness at the age of 49 years. She is survived by 2 sons- Adam Bair and Sam Bair both of Williamsburg; three step children: Robert Sandersfeld of North Liberty, Jamie Sandersfeld of Marion and Charles Sandersfeld of Williamsburg; her mother Helen Bair of Williamsburg; eleven brothers and sisters: Clarence Jr. of Oskaloosa, Carol Vangampleare of Brooklyn, Ronald of Grinnell, Larry of Victor, Colleen of Williamsburg, Kathleen of Oskaloosa, David of Georgia, Kenneth of Belle Plaine, Keith of Grinnell, Russell of Williamsburg and Dennis of Coralville. Barb was preceded in death by her father. Celebration of Life Service will be held 10:30 AM on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Rick Gerard will officiate. Burial will be in the Community Cemetery near Millersburg. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 to 8 at the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Williamsburg.
