Barbara Grimes

Webster- Barbara Grimes was born June 22, 1947 in Cumberland, Maryland the daughter of James and Barbara (Ways) Furstenberg. She graduated from Glenelg High School and Catonsville Community College. Barb was united in marriage to Charles Edward Grimes on June 20, 1964 in Maryland. She worked as an administrative assistant at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab for over 36 years. She retired in November of 2000. Barb was a former member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Maryland and Webster United Methodist Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family and friends. Barb died on Monday, January 18, 2021 at her home near Webster at the age of 73 years.

She is survived by her son Todd & Janice Grimes of Webster; two grandchildren Alex & Brittney Keeney of North English and Adam & Erin Keeney of Coralville; six great grandchildren Isabella, Kynlie, Henry and Reese Keeney and Sierra and Luka Keeney; and two sisters Karen Jones of Columbia, SC and Laura West of Port Orange, FL. She was preceded by her parents; husband Charles in 2013; and a brother James Furstenberg.
