Brent Michael Boerm

WELLMAN-Brent Michael Boerm, age 39, of Wellman, died Tuesday, February 1, 2022, near Wellman.
Brent was born October 16, 1982, in Marshalltown, to Leonard and Betty (Bratland) Boerm. He graduated from Green Mountain Garwin High School. On October 31, 2020, he married the love of his life, Jenni at Marr Park near Washington. He was a heavy equipment operator for Peterson Contractors Inc. and enjoyed farming, starting a purebred Hereford operation with his wife and kids, watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and spending time just sitting outside watching the sun go down.
Survivors include his wife: Jenni and children: Lyndon, Caynan, Owyn, Hudsyn and Rylan all of Wellman and Marisa, Aaden and Camdyn of LeGrand; parents: Leonard and Betty Boerm of Garwin; in-laws: Jimmy and Jackie Miller of Wellman; sister: Jillisa (Tom) Sawhill of Swan; brother: Matthew (Jen) Boerm of Toledo; sister in-law: Jess (Jeremy) Allen of Iowa City and brother in-law: Jeremy (Jordan) Miller of Wellman as well as many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona. Burial will be at Wellman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
