Brina Yoder

Iowa City- Brina Anderson Yoder was born March 1, 2000, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Brianna Yoder. She graduated from West High School in Iowa City. Brina worked at Menards, Culvers, and other local restaurant and was also a Door Dash driver. Brina was a talented young lady when it came to art, especially drawing; she enjoyed getting her hair and nails done, loved going to the thrift stores to find that next great item, but most of all she loved her family and spending time with them. Brina passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 near Walcott Iowa at the age of 23 years old.

Brina is survived by her mother, Brianna Yoder of North Liberty; two brothers, Marquis Davis of Hammond, LA and Amarious Yoder of Arizona; a sister, Dayanna Yoder of North Liberty; her grandfather, Chuck Yoder of Iowa City; grandmother, Janice Battes of Oklahoma; an Aunt Samantha Speas of Flordia; and numerous cousins, great aunts and great uncles.

She was  preceded in death by Janet Yoder.

A Celebration Of  Life Service will be held 1:00 pm Monday, March 20, 2023 at Yoder Powell Funeral Home in Kalona. Burial will be at East Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 to 1:00 pm Monday, March 20, 2023 at Yoder Powell Funeral Home in Kalona. A General Memorial Fund has been established. Yoder Powell Funeral Home is caring for Brina and her family.
