Constance "Connie" J. Schropp

Constance “Connie” Jean Schropp, age 47, of Millersburg, passed away, Friday, December 28, 2018, at Compass Memorial Hospital, Marengo. Funeral services: 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with Rev. Eddie Thomas officiating. Burial will be in the Oxford Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Connie’s name.

Connie is survived by her father Eugene (Patricia Dunton Baugh) of Marengo; her grandmother, Virginia Dunton of Marengo; four siblings Jackie Schropp-Lange, in Cedar Rapids, Charlie (Mary) Schropp, in Oxford, Brenda Martinez, in California, and a twin sister Catherine Schropp-Roach, in Coralville; three nephews Anthony, Matthew and Thomas; two nieces Amanda and Cameron; and a great niece Elizabeth. She was preceded in death by her mother Phyllis in 2001, a nephew Jonathan and a brother-in-law Dean Lange.

Constance “Connie” Jean Schropp, was born February 5, 1971, in Iowa City, the daughter of Eugene and Phyllis Dunton Schropp. She attended Iowa Valley Schools. Connie grew up in Marengo, and later lived in Oxford and currently Millersburg. She was the most happy when she could be around friends and family. Even though Connie was sick, she always had a smile for every one and had a positive attitude. She would not let her illness slow her down. Connie will be missed by many.
