Dale Maurice Wolfe

North English- Dale Maurice Wolfe was born February 11, 1923 in Harper, Iowa, the son of Carl Challnor & Grace Dora (Crooks) Wolfe. He was united in marriage to Norma Laurene Hermanstorfer on January 1, 1947 in Sigourney, Iowa. Dale drove truck, worked for the natural gas pipeline in Texas for 14 years and farmed from 1961 until retiring in 1985. He has lived in the Harper, Sigourney, North English and South English Communities. He enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing and visiting with family and friends. Dale died on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the English Valley Care Center, North English at the age of 93 years.

He is survived by his wife Norma of North English; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents and two sisters Dorothy Ruth Clubb and Betty Grace Langston.

Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Sorden Cemetery, near Webster. Rob Bruns will officiate. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com
