Delphine E. Vanderhamm

Delphine E. Vander Hamm, age 95 of Marengo, passed away, Friday, March 30, 2018 at Rose Haven Nursing Home, Marengo. Funeral Services: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 4, 2018, St. John’s Lutheran Church, Marengo with Rev. Andrew Gray officiating. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:30 on Wednesday morning at the church, prior to services. A memorial fund has been established. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is assisting the family with arrangements.

Delphine is survived by nieces, nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Clellan and Eugene Vander Hamm, and a sister Darlene E. Vander Hamm Hacker.

Delphine E. was born June 20, 1922 in Ireton, Iowa, the daughter of Oscar and Anna Rassler Vander Hamm. She was employed at Collins Radio Company in Cedar Rapids from 1942 – 1982. She retired and moved to Marengo, Iowa, where she was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting, crossword puzzles and playing Pinochle.
