Dianne L. Siemens

Dianne Siemens, 65, joined her husband Tim in Heaven on Saturday evening, January 22, 2022, after suffering from complications from CJD (Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease) at Brooklyn Community Estate. Dianne, a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, loved walking with friends, flowers, holding babies, her co-workers at school, dog sitting, attending grandkids’ activities, shopping, baking, and gave the best massages. She loved Christian music and taking care of her mom. She was known for her kindness, her faith, misplacing things, peach pies, soups, and tea. Dianne was a caring person and a really good listener. Serving at Madison Church of Christ was her priority, whether it was singing on the worship team, teaching Sunday School, or serving in any area where there was a need. She and her late husband Tim were married 46 years.

Dianne is survived by her mom, Margaret Dyer of Brooklyn; her son Brian Siemens of Hudson, Iowa; her daughter Holli and Curt Hansen; her grandchildren Hogan, Ana and Palmer Hansen all of Waverly, Iowa; her sister Connie (Rick) Samples of San Jose, California; her brothers Calvin (Barbara) Dyer of Lingle, Wyoming and Larry (Joni) Dyer of Ozark, Missouri. Also surviving Dianne are many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind an incredible number of friends.

The family will host a Celebration of Life service in her honor on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., at the Madison Church of Christ. Feel free to dress casual and wear purple or your favorite color. Refreshments and fellowship will follow the celebration.
