Dixie Lee Holland

Dixie Lee Holland, 69, of Brooklyn, Iowa, passed away on August 13, 2024, peacefully in her home. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 3-6 pm at the Michael J. Manatt Center in Brooklyn, Iowa. Memorials may be directed to the family for a scholarship to be dedicated in her name. Kloster Funeral Home of Brooklyn is assisting the family with arrangements.

Dixie was born May 15, 1955 to Kenneth and Joan (Bennett) Alexander in Waukon, IA. She loved her family dearly, especially her son, Jeremy, and her grandchildren; Kayleigh, Kylee, and Gaige Holland. She loved dirt track racing, the Hawkeyes, gambling, and her Front Street Tap family.

Dixie is survived by her husband, John Michael “Mort” Frahm, son Jeremy (Jen) Holland, grandchildren, sisters Dolores Reynolds, Cindy (Mike) Van Renterghem, brother Kenny (Sara) Alexander, and lots of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Joan Alexander and a sister, Phyllis Alexander.
