Kalona- Emil W. Schlabaugh was born January 26, 1927, in Sharon Center in rural Johnson County, the son of Mahlon and Kate (Miller) Schlabaugh. He passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Pleasantview Home in Kalona at the age of 99 years.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church. Burial will be at Lower Deer Creek Cemetery in rural Wellman. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, June 15, 2026 at Yoder-Powell Funeral Home
