Florence Enolia Dobson

Wellman- Florence Enolia Dobson was born November 18, 1928, in rural Grand Junction, Iowa, the daughter of Claude R. and Carrie (McNames) Henderson. She graduated from Grand Junction High School. Florence was an office manager for Dodson Standard Oil for 27 years in Grand Junction. On June 23, 1946 Florence was united in marriage to Floyd Edward Dobson in South Dakota. They Moved to Wellman in 1978. Florence was a member of the embroidery club, garden club, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the United Methodist Church. Where she was active in the church circle, held many church offices and taught several Sunday school classes over the years. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening. Florence passed away Friday, March 20, 2026 at Pleasantveiw Home in Kalona, at the age of 97 years.

Florence is survived by her two children; Gloria (John) Boyse of Wellman and Richard (Jane) Dobson of Gainesville, Texas; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and Great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Floyd in 2004, daughter Deanne Sue in 1981, brothers; CB and Jack Henderson and Glayds Thronton.
