Gloria Diane Devlieger

Gloria Diane DeVlieger, age 77 of Marengo, passed away Sunday , January 28, 2018 at Rose Haven Nursing Home, Marengo. There will be no funeral or visitation services. Burial will be in the St. John’s Cemetery in Cedar Rapids. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be contributed to Rose Haven Nursing Home, Marengo. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Gloria is survived by two sons David (Valentina) Stevens and Darrenn Stevens; eight grandchildren Steven, Parrish, Tabitha, Jami, Leilani, Patricia, Mitchell and Hayden; several great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two brothers Darrell and Larry Johnson; and three sisters Donna Cornish, Karen Bruggeman and LeeAnn Renner. She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters KaCindra and Theresa, her first husband Richard Stevens, her second husband Edward DeVlieger and one sister Sheryll Mondahl.

Gloria Diane Johnson was born March 26, 1940, in Iowa City, the daughter of Dwayne and Dorothy Mohr Johnson. She graduated from Tarpon Springs Schools, Florida in 1958. Gloria was employed as a topographer in the civil engineering field. She was a master seamstress and enjoyed home construction, decorating and quilting.
