Harold Eugene Bohrn
February 15, 1930 — December 28, 2023
Marengo- Harold Eugene Bohrn ws born February 15, 1930 in Deep River, Iowa, the son of James A & Sylvian (Endcott) Bohrn. He graduated from North English High School in 1949. He served in the United States Army from 1953 - 1955. Harold lived several years in Tampa, Florida, working as a sales clerk at various convenient stores. He retired in 1975 and returned to Iowa in 2002. Harold enjoyed watching sports and putting together jig saw puzzles. Harold died on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Compass Memorial Hospital in Marengo, at the age of 93 years.
He is survived by a brother Morris (Fay) Bohrn of West Amana and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded by his parents; sisters Hazel Bohrn, Helen Strasser and Doris Strasser; and brothers George, William and Myron Bohrn.
A graveside service will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at the North English Cemetery, North English. A general memorial fund has been established.
