Imelda Marie “Millie” Roth, age 88, of Brooklyn, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018, at the Brooklyn Community Estate. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2019, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Brooklyn, with Father Corey Close officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Brooklyn. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn, with a rosary service at 6:45 p.m. A memorial fund has been established.
Millie is survived by her children Pamela (William) Reinburg, of Richview, IL, Dean (Becky) Roth, of Brooklyn, Garland (Diane) Roth, of Grinnell, Cynthia (Craig) VanHove, of Traer, Andrew (Jo) Roth, of Roach MO, Valerie Roth, of Grinnell, Marcia (Gary) Stegall, of Abingdon, IL, Martin (Lisa) Roth, of Verona WI, Jerry (Brenda) Roth, of Evansville, WI, and Francis (Michelle) Roth, of Victor; 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and a brother Dale Henle, of Toledo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Maynard, two sons Dwight and Marcel Roth and a granddaughter Denise Reinburg.
Imelda Marie Henle was born March 17, 1930, in Tama, the daughter of Frank and Antoinette Gettis Henle. She graduated from Milford High School. Imelda and Maynard Roth were married December 29, 1949. She loved to cook and have family dinners. Millie enjoyed bowling, playing cards, bingo and going to the casino. She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Brooklyn.
