J. Tom Klein

Marion- John (Tom) Thomas Klein of Marion and formerly of North English, died Thursday, February 8, 2018, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City at the age of 67 years.

Tom was born February 28, 1950 in Iowa City, the son of John and Helen (Shea) Klein. He graduated from Keota High School in 1968. He served in the United States Air Force from 1968-1972 as an air traffic control instructor. Tom was united in marriage to Kristi Wilkerson on February 24, 2012, in Victor, Iowa. He enjoyed visiting with people, listening to music, watching the Iowa Hawkeye's and spending time with his family and their cats.

He is survived by his wife Kristi and a stepdaughter Jessica (Justin) Garrett all of Marion. He was preceded in death by his parents.
