Kandi Stark Reeder

Kandi Lynne Stark Reeder, 56, of Lockridge, IA, passed away on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Cremation has been accorded. A graveside memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 15, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lambirth Cemetery south of Lockridge, IA, with a time of fellowship to follow. A memorial has been established to the American Cancer Society. Memorials may be dropped off at the Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel during normal business hours. Born June 30, 1957 in Fairfield, IA, Kandi was the daughter of Harley and Eileen Nelson Stark. She attended Mt. Pleasant Community High School and graduated in 1975. On November 30, 1989 she married Geno Mark Reeder. Kandi worked for over 16 years at McKay Envelope as a printer. She also worked for 12 years at McAllister Law Office where she did abstract work. Her special interest was to do genealogy research for her family. She loved her many pets and farm animals. Spending time on the family farm with her family was her greatest joy. Survivors include her husband, Geno, of Lockridge, IA; a brother, Steve (Darlene) Stark of Harrisonville, MO; and a sister Cheryl (John) Giberson of Mt. Pleasant, IA. Preceding Kandi in death are her parents; and two brothers, Larry and Denny Stark.
