Parnell- Kenneth G. White Sr, was born January 24, 1940 in Lynn, MA the son of Henry C. and Gladys M. (Comeau) White. He graduated from Lynn High School, BS from School of Anestisia at the Walter Reed Hospital, BA at the University of Maryland and his PHD at Michigan State. Kenneth served as a Captain in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Ken was a Nurse Anesthetist during his working life. He was united in marriage to Marlene Niedbala on October 1, 1966 at the Walter Reed Chapel. They lived in numerous places before moving to Parnell, IA 5 years ago. Ken was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Williamsburg; the National Trap Shooting Association and the American Legion. Kenneth died on Wednesday, May 19, 2010, at his home near Parnell, at the age of 70 years. He is survived by his wife Marlene of Parnell; a daughter Michelle Krupp and husband Dave of North Liberty and a son Ken and wife Katie White Jr, of Gurnee, IL; four grandsons: Trey, Kyler, Coleson and Andrew; a brother Henry White and a sister Evelyn Saulnier both of Salem MA. He was preceded in death by his parents.
