Kerry Bardell

Marengo-Kerry Douglas Bardell was born November 3, 1959, in Freeport, Illinois, the son of Merle R. And Lorraine Lynette (Scace) Bardell. Kerry graduated from Princeton High School in 1977. He lived in Freeport, IL, Princeton, IA, St. Louis, MO, West Liberty, IA, and most recently Marengo, Iowa. Kerry worked for Roner’s Machine Shop in West Liberty, John Deere in Davenport, and owned and operated KD Seamless Gutters. Kerry enjoyed dirt track racing in West Liberty, NASCAR, and the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Kerry died Friday, January 30, 2026, at his home at the age of 66 years.

He is survived by his children Damian (Christy) Bardell of West Liberty, Benjamin Bardell of Marengo and Micah Bardell of Lewisville, TX; grandchildren Eion and Summer; siblings Randy (Rhonda) Bardell of Estacada, OR, Todd Bardell of Austin, TX and Pam (Tracy) Wargo of Streator, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents.
