Linda Wiles

Wellman- Linda Wiles was born July 17, 1943 in Washington, Iowa the daughter of John and Marguerite (Kron) Knotek. She worked at Reif’s Family Center for many years. On October 28, 1967, Linda was united in marriage to James in the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Linda enjoyed cooking and spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Linda passed away Friday, October 9, 2026 at Halcyon House in Washington at the age of 83 years.

Linda is survived by three children; Scott (Denise) Wiles of Wellman, Cindy (Corey) Kreutz of Wellman and John (Rebecca) Wiles of Brighton; four grandchildren: Cody (Madison) Kreutz, Zachary (Kayla) Wiles, Mason (Dakota Tomkins) Wiles and Katie ( JC) Dumont; six great grandchildren; Athina and Maggie Wiles, Elayna and Eylah Kreutz and Knox and Bodhi Dumont; four step grandchildren; Kayla Rauw, Emily (Josh) McLane, Maxwell Collazo and Tanner Collazo; two step great grandchildren; Finneleight Rauw and Aarlo McLane. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband James in 2019.

A Celebration in Honor of Linda will be 11:00 am Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the Richmond Am-Vets in Richmond, Iowa. A private family burial will be held at the Wellman Cemetery.
