Lloyd Pfeaster, age 76 of Marengo, died Monday, June 11, 2018 at his home.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 16, 2018, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. Burial will be in the Indianapolis Cemetery, rural What Cheer. The family will receive friends after 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home. A memorial fund has been established.
Lloyd is survived by his son Amos of Ogden, UT; a step daughter, Lisa Dean of Washington State; two grandchildren; a sister Fay (Morris) Bohrn of West Amana, a half-brother Francis Grover of Marengo; a sister-in-law Carylin Pfeaster of Oregon, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Laverne and Dewayne.
Lloyd Leroy Pfeaster was born October 20, 1941 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the son of Amos Joseph and Doris Elnora Campbell Pfeaster. He attended schools in the Oskaloosa, What Cheer and Sigourney areas. Lloyd worked several jobs during his lifetime. He worked on a fur farm, a chicken farm in Idaho, and was a trucker for a sale barn. Most recently he worked on the Reichert horse ranch near Marengo. In his leisure hours he enjoyed fishing. Ever the cowboy, Lloyd enjoyed trail rides and rodeo.
