Lois M. Berry

Williamsburg-Lois Marie Berry was born March 24, 1933, in Donnellson, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Ruth (Koller) Hirschler. She graduated from Donnellson High School and the University of Iowa. Lois was united in marriage to Bill Berry on February 3, 1957, in Donnellson. Lois worked at the Marengo Hospital as a Medical Technician for many years. Lois and Bill have lived in Williamsburg since 1970. Lois was a member of the St. Paul United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader, talented quilter, and qualified phlebotomist. She adored her grandkids, cats, friends and relatives.

Lois died Monday, January 19, 2026, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Cedar Rapids at the age of 92 years. Lois is survived by her four children, Eric Berry (Stefania), Neil Berry, Jon Berry (Joan) and Anne Julien (James); five grandchildren, Kate, Miranda, Serena, Emma and Eli. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Bill in 2022.
