Williamsburg-M. Eileen Wagner was born March 1, 1917 in Iowa County, Iowa, the daughter of John M. and Ocie Vay McCallister. She attended rural school. Eileen was united in marriage to Vincent (Buss) Wagner on December 27, 1946 at the St. Joseph Rectory in Parnell, Iowa. The couple farmed Southwest of Williamsburg until Vincents death. Later Eileen moved to an apartment in North English, then do to failing health she went to live with her son in Brooklyn, in May 2004 she became a resident of the English Valley Care Center in North English. Eileen died Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at the English Valley Care Center after an extended illness at the age of 88 years, 1 month and 11 days. She is survived by a son: Gene (Kitty) Wagner of Brooklyn; a grandson: Christopher Wagner of Brooklyn; a sister Ruby Schwarting of Vinton; four brothers: George (Kathryn) McCallister and Daryle (Lila) McCallister all of Williamsburg, Don (Marion) McCallister of Marion and William (Donna) McCallister of Ladora. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 1984, twin daughter Sylvia and Shirley in infancy; two brothers: Curtis and Wayne McCallister and two sisters: Opal Conn and Rita Bulter. Celebration of Life Service will be10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2005 at the Uhlmann-Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Williamsburg. Officiating will be Pastor Edwin Jordan.
