Marjorie B. Miller was born Saturday, November 19, 1921 in Wood River, Nebraska the daughter of Amos and Sarah (Stutzman) Boshart. On February 14, 1940 she was united in marriage to Nelson V. Miller in Wood River. They farmed in the Wellman community for many years. Marjorie had lived in Iowa City and Bettendorf, and currently was living in Des Moines. She was a member of the Wellman Mennonite Church. She enjoyed quilting and she made and gave away many baby quilts. Marjorie died on Saturday, September 4, 2004 at Mercy Capital Hospital in Des Moines following a long illness at the age of 82 years. Marjorie is survived by 5 children - Janice Miller Yoder and husband Robert of Bettendorf; Dennis Miller and wife Janis of Naples, Florida; Leon Miller and wife Barbara of Church Hill, Tennessee; Mary Kathryn Miller of Des Moines; Timothy Jon Miller and wife Sheryl of Coralville; 12 grandchildren - Jennifer Yoder Chilton, Melissa Yoder Wood, Theodore Nelson Wood, Anthony Miller, Libby Miller, Rachel Miller, Hollie Miller Vittetoe, Amber Miller, Rebecka Miller, Sarah Miller, Daniel Levi Miller, Drew Miller; 5 great grandchildren - Casandra, Caleb and Caroline Chilton; Nicholas and Ryan Wood; and 2 brothers- Delbert Boshart of Milford, Nebraska; and Merrill Boshart of Shedd, Oregon. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; her step mother - Mary Ann Boshart; her husband; and 4 brothers - Aldoris Boshart, LeRoy Schweitzer; Amos Boshart Jr; and Omar Boshart.
