Mark Glenn Greenlee

November 24, 1951 — January 28, 2022

North English- Mark Glenn Greenlee was born November 24, 1951 in Sigourney, Iowa, the son of Glenn & Thelma (Kelley) Greenlee. He graduated from English Valley High School in 1970. He was drafted and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. On July 18, 1972 Mark was united in marriage to Charline Elaine Allen in South English. He worked as a truck driver for Swift and in the plant at Amana Refrigeration. He enjoyed fishing, riding Harleys, racing dirt track cars and watching NASCAR, the Iowa Hawkeyes, and Walker Texas Ranger. Mark died on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the English Valley Care Center, in North English, at the age of 70 years.

He is survived by his son Richard (Danielle) Greenlee and Patricia (David) Moxley all of North English; five grandchildren Colton (Alysha) Greenlee, Devin & Rayna Greenlee, Anthony (Ily) Moxley and Rusty Moxley; a great grandson Lukas Young; and a sister-in-law Kathy Greenlee of North English. He was precede by his parents, wife Charline and a brother Alan Greenlee.

Celebration Of Life Service 11:00 am Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Powell Funeral Home in North English. Burial will be in the North English Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Memorials may be given to the Hunington's Disease Foundation. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
