Mary Ann Fuller

Mary Ann (Harris) Fuller of Keswick was welcomed into heaven, surrounded by her loving family, on Saturday, June 27th, 2026, at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney, after 90 beautiful years on Earth.

Mary Ann was born on September 24th, 1935, in South English, Iowa, the daughter of Wayne Guy and Helen Luella (Troutman) Harris. She graduated from North English High School in 1953. On June 26th, 1953, she was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Fuller at the North English Methodist Church. While Dick was in the Army, they lived in Colorado and Oklahoma before returning to Iowa to make their home. In 1965, they moved to rural Keswick to farm and raise their family.

After their children were grown, Mary Ann worked for seventeen years as an office assistant at the Keokuk County Farm Bureau, volunteered at the Veteran’s Administration Hospital, and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a former member of the Keswick United Methodist Church, where she served on the church board and was active in the United Methodist Women (UMW). Most recently she was a member of the What Cheer Methodist Church.

Mary Ann enjoyed playing cards and attending her grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s activities. She loved texting them good luck before their events and was known for “tipping” them for homeruns and 3 pointers. She was an avid sports fan who watched any team or sport, though the Iowa Hawkeyes were her favorite. Mary Ann was a faithful servant, deeply proud of her family, and she cherished hearing every detail of their lives. Her famous pumpkin bars were a beloved staple at every holiday gathering. Her youthful energy, loving heart, and cheerful, bubbly spirit were felt by everyone who knew her, and she had earned the affectionate title of “Grandma Annie” to all.

She is survived by her children Sheree (Andy) Harper of Keswick, Shelley Krumm of Webster, and Susan (Kevin) Steinhart of Webster; grandchildren Brandee (Chad Baker) Harper, Jayson (Deanna) Harper, Brooke (Mark) Zittergruen, Amey Westfall, Jeremy (Whitney) Krumm, and Maggie (Austin) Taylor; great grandchildren Davin, Dalton, and Delanie Harper, Mariah, Chloe, and Aubrey Zittergruen, Karyssa (Seth Swearingen) Westfall and Addysyn Westfall, Easton, Braxton, and Preston Krumm, and Callie and Sadie Taylor; one great great grandchild, Preslie Swearingen; sister Carma Septer; brother in law Norman (Helen) Fuller; and several special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dick in 2002; son in law Mike Krumm; two brothers, Jerry (Mary Lou) Harris and Larry (Joan) Harris; and two brothers in law, Paul Septer and Larry (Maryann) Fuller.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026, at the What Cheer Methodist Church, with burial at a later date. Visitation will be from 5:00–7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 1st, 2026, at Powell Funeral Home in North English. Memorials may be given to the Tri County Food Pantry or Essence of Life Hospice.
