KEOTA - Patricia Mound, age 75, of Keota, died Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Maplewood Manor in Keota. Pat was born December 7, 1936, in Washington, Iowa, the daughter of Elnor "Bill" and Rosa (Beason) Ingle. She grew up in the Washington community and graduated from Keota High School. On June 5, 1955, she married James Mound in Keota. Pat worked at Mound Service Station for many years. She also was a secretary at Laing and Railsback Attorneys, worked at Mapelwood Manor for three years and was a bookkeeper for Bob McDowell. Pat was a member of the United Church of Faith, the Rebekah Lodge and the Noble Grands. Survivors include three children: Randy Mound and wife Fanny of Woodbury, Minnesota, Robin Lynch and husband Dan of Kalona, Jeffrey Mound of Iowa City; four grandchildren: Nicholas, Travis, Rachelle and Jeffrey; five great grandchildren; a brother: Charles "Chuck" Ingle of Bullhead City, Arizona and mother-in-law: Pearl Mound of Keota. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Jim on August 19, 2010. Celebration of Life Service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at the United Church of Faith in Keota, with Rev. Dennis Hopes officiating. Burial will be at Keota Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday at Powell Funeral Home in Keota. A memorial fund has been established for Hospice Compassus. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is caring for Pat and her family.
