Ray Britt

SIGOURNEY-Maurice Ray Britt, Jr., age 59, of Sigourney, passed away at his home on March 13, 2019 after a long battle with health issues.
Ray was born July 21, 1959, to Dorothy (Shore) Roberts, in Norwich, Connecticut. He later moved his family to Sigourney, Iowa, where he lived out his life. Ray spent most of his life driving semi across the country.
Survivors include his mother: Dorothy Roberts; sister: Patricia and brother: Pierce, all of Norwich, Connecticut; his wife: Valerie Hoffer; their children: Becky (Matt), Ray (Alisha), Joey (Nicole) and Michael (Crystal). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Paige, Griffen, Jacob, Ethan, Matthew, Connor, Abby and Aiden. He is preceded in death by his father: Pierce Roberts and sisters: Linda and Diane.
