Amana- Robert “Bob” Petta passed away July 10th, 2025.
He was proceeded in death by his parents Louis and Gilda (Mennuzza) Petta, and sister Teresa (Petta) Catherwood.
Bob is survived by his daughters Diane and Stephanie, brothers Alfred (Rita) Petta and Joseph (Amy) Petta, nephew Christopher Petta, nieces Kristin (Shonice, Charlie, Carter) Hawkins, Alyssa Petta, nephews Michael (Tara, Michael, Bennet) Catherwood, Steven (Samantha) Catherwood, and brother-in-law Barry Catherwood.
Bob was born in Brooklyn, New York, grew up on Staten Island, and graduated from St. Clare grammar school and New Dorp High School.
He was a lifelong carpenter and enyoyed collecting vinyl records and watching old movies.
Bob Petta was 72 years old.
