Shuraleen Signora Egemo

Wellman-Shuraleen Signora Egemo was born July 9, 1927, in Kanawha, Iowa. The daughter of Herman and Edith (Livingston) Egemo. She graduated from Goldfield High School. Shuraleen has lived in Goldfield, Waterloo, Kalona and Wellman. She worked at Rather Meat Packing as a clerical sales analysis for 40 years retiring in 1987. She was a member of Walnut Street Calvary Church in Waterloo. Shuraleen enjoyed working in the yard and with flowers. She passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Parkview Manor in Wellman at the age of 93.

She is survived by a sister, Wilma Runyan of Texas; a niece, Jennifer (Glen) Bontrager of Washington; a nephew, Joe Egemo of Eastman, WI; great nieces, Emily Gardner, Marriah Witting, Lindsey Colbentz and Alisha Harland. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Erving and sisters, LaVonne Jones and Connie Heaton.

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be 6:00 pm on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at the Powell Funeral Home in Wellman. Visitation will be from 5:00 until service time. Messages and tributes may be left at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
