Wellman- Sterling Wayne Schweitzer was born May 12,1935 Wood River, Nebraska, the son of Steven and Malinda (Stutzman) Schweitzer. Sterling passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025 at his home in Wellman at the age of 90 years.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Wellman Mennonite Church in Wellman. Burial will be in the Wellman Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 28, 2025, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Wellman Mennonite Church in Wellman. Messages and Tributes may be sent to the family at www.powellfuneralhomes.com
