Steven Edgar Bennett

Steven Edgar Bennett, age 65 of Malcom, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his home, following an extended illness. There are no services planned at this time. Kloster Funeral Home, Brooklyn is assisting the family with arrangements.

Steven is survived by his sons, Michael and wife Kristi of Eldora, and Kenny of Barnes City; grandchildren, William, Jacob and Zachary; and great-grandchildren Caden, Conner and Caleb. Also surviving is his longtime companion, Teresa Bray. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Steven was born August 7, 1952 in Grinnell, Iowa the son of Billie Lee Bennett and Gladys Winchester Bennett. He received his education in the Grinnell schools and served in the U.S. Army. Steve was employed as a truck driver for Worley Trucking, Sully, Iowa. He was a member of the Grinnell American Legion Post 53.
