Teresa Ann Gostynski

Kalona- Teresa Ann Gostynski was born February 21, 1948 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Raul and Mary (Martinez) Guerra. She grew up in Los Angeles California, Teresa was united in marriage to Gary Gostynski on August 30, 1969 in Monbello, California, to this union they were blessed with two children. They lived in California for several years before moving back to Kalona in 2014. Teresa worked for the Pacific Bell Phone company for 16 years before coming a teacher. She was a member of the Parkview Church in Iowa City, she enjoyed reading books, and bible study groups. Teresa passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City at the age of 72.

She is survived by her husband Gary Gostynski, two children, Sean (Stephanie) Gostynski of Cedar Rapids and Natalie Gostynski of Seattle, WA; two grandchildren, Calvin and Ben Gostynski, and 4 siblings, Diane Guerra, Gloria Guerra, David Guerra, and Lisa Spicer. She is preceded in death by her parents.
