MARENGO-Terry Mahan, age 72, of Marengo, died Monday, April 6, 2026, at Stone Cottage Care Center in Sigourney.
Terry was born February 20, 1954, in Sigourney, Iowa, the son of Richard and Rose (Cavin) Mahan and graduated from English Valleys High School in 1972. He worked as a mechanic and lived in Georgia, Wyoming, Idaho and Texas before moving back to Iowa. Terry enjoyed drag racing, horses and his family, especially his sons and grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons: Damian (Brandi) Mahan and Darrick Mahan; five grandchildren: Bre and Brayden Mahan and Zaiden, Hali-Ann and Carson Mahan; sister: Linda Mahan Scott and two brothers: Don (Lynda) Mahan and RJ (Michelle) Mahan. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Dan Mahan.
His body has been cremated and burial will be at a later date at South English Cemetery.
