Tim Siemens

Tim Siemens, 66,  died peacefully Thursday afternoon, January 14, 2021, at Methodist Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa, surrounded by his family. Celebration Of Life Service: 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 30, 2021, at Madison Church of Christ, rural Brooklyn with Pastor Joel Nielsen officiating. A time of fellowship will follow afterwards.

Tim, a lifelong resident of Brooklyn, lived his life for the benefit of others. He has touched many lives through his various jobs, especially while he was at Steve Link Ford / NAPA Auto Parts and Farm Bureau Insurance. He was a craftsman who could do or make anything.  He was a great listener, encourager, friend and expressed a great sense of humor.  This genuine and sincere man loved his family, life and his God, whom he served with great passion and intention.  Friends and family enjoyed playing golf with Tim and sharing his famous Homemade Ice Cream.

He is survived by wife of 46 years, Dianne Siemens of Brooklyn, Iowa; son Brian Siemens of Hudson, Iowa; daughter Holli and Curt Hansen, grandchildren Hogan, Ana and Palmer Hansen all of Waverly, Iowa; brother Steve and Barb Siemens of Des Moines, Iowa; brother James and Deborah Siemens of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and a sister Suanne and David Rutherford of Fresno, California plus many nephews and nieces.  He also leaves an incredible number of friends.
