Williamsburg-Violet Mae Clubb was born May 1, 1968 in Marengo, Iowa, the daughter of Rodney and Orpha Grimm Clubb. She grew up and attended school in Williamsburg and moved to Sioux City a number of years ago. Violet died Thursday, October 21, 2004 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City after a short illness at the age of 36 years. Violet is survived by her son Christopher Wagner of Brooklyn; her mother Orpha Clubb of Williamsburg; four brothers: Delbert and wife Janet Clubb, Stephen Clubb and Ralph Clubb all of Williamsburg and Eric and wife Debrah Clubb of Marquette; two sisters: Christine Weiermann and Connie and husband Todd McMenomy all of Williamsburg. She was preceded in death by her father Rodney in 1995. A private immediate family celebration of life service will be held Sunday at the Uhlmann-Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Williamsburg. Pastor Joe Abdo will officiate the service.
