William "Bill" E Young

RICHLAND-William E. Young, age 65, of Richland, died Thursday, May 6, 2021, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
Bill was born June 15, 1955, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Richard and Elaine (Hutchinson) Young and graduated from Washington High School in 1973. On May 10, 1986, he married Teresa Rae Foglesong at the Webster United Methodist Church. Bill drove a truck for Dickey Transport and enjoyed eating breakfast, going to Denny's, fishing, mushrooming, his grandchildren and riding his motorcycle.
Survivors include his wife: Terri of Cedar Rapids; three children: Mike (Sarah) White of Elberon, Donald Young of Sigourney and Leo (Brandi) Young of Richland; eight grandchildren: Reagan, Ryann, Charleigh, Norah, Logan, Blake, Gracie and Avery; four siblings: Russell (Mary) Young of Oskaloosa, Mary Brissee of Sigourney, Scott Young of Ketchum, Oklahoma and Galen Young of Cedar Rapids; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Richard and Elaine; stepmom: Gloria and sister: Stefanie Long

Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Powell Funeral Home in North English, with Jerry VanWyke officiating. Burial will be at South English Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
