William (Billy) Decker

Eldridge-William (Billy) Arvine Decker was born March 25, 1956 in Sigourney, Iowa. The son of Harold and Ladeana (Grimm) Decker. He graduated from Williamsburg High School and later Indian Hill Community College in Ottumwa. He served in the United States Air force. Billy was a jack of all trades and master of none. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping mushroom hunting and spending time with his nieces and nephews. Billy died on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at his home at the age of 65.

He is survived by two daughters, Kelly (Brett) Allen of Marion and Amber (Ross Fetzer) Decker of Williamsburg; two grandchildren, Allison Lupke and Cassidy Panther; a sister, Debbie (Art) Plog of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a nephew, Nate (Julie) Coble; two nieces, Alicia (Curtis) Gay and Cassie (Robin Laddusaw) Coble; four great niece and nephews, Jordan, Abby, Teghin and CJ ; two aunts, Pamela Tedrow and Deb (Randy) Provin and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Dennis Decker.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 6:00 pm on Monday, November 1, 2021 at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be directed to the Wounded Warriors Project. Messages and tributes may be directed to www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
