I just now noticed that Erna Lee passed away recently. Erna Lee grew up in the Cotter area and I have been friends of her family throughout the years. I had the opportunity to see Erna Lee grow up. Our paths have crossed during the years and she was always so enthused with life. My sympathy goes out to her family! May Erna Lee Rest In Peace!
So sorry to hear of Erna’s passing. I am a Columbus Community class mate of Class of ‘64. We were an “item” while going to Cotter Elementary. We didn’ t leave the school day without saying “goodby!”
My condolences to the family. Anthony”Tony” Hughes.
Erna was a classmate and I recall the first year she came to the Columbus schools. She was well liked by all and was destined for a good future. I remember her as a strong vocalist and instrumental musician not to mention being a kind and friendly person. I lost track of Erna and many other classmates, I only saw her a few times after graduation, but I was glad to see she blessed the lives of so many friends and family. Keep singing Erna.
So many things in our daily routines are unexplainable. We are probably better not to know the future. Erna has been a great friend as well as cousin throughout our lives. We are saddened at her passing but comforted knowing she is now at peace. God's Blessings. Aunt Mildred Houseal & Duane Lewis and family.
