Barb and family - We were sorry to hear about Larry’s passing. He was truly a one of a kind guy. Gordon had really enjoyed Larry’s company and conversation over the years. In sympathy - Paula Hinnah, Andy, Casey and our families.
Rest in Peace Uncle Larry. Seeing you was always a highlight of coming to visit Grandma Lois when I was a kid. You had a twinkle in your eye and a warm heart and friendliness that immediately put me at ease. I am so glad that I got to spend the evening talking with you at Audrey's wedding last summer. You were a gift to the world and you will be missed terribly. Love always, Alissa
Barb, Tom and Todd, and family, Our sympathy for the loss of your Dad|Grandpa. I recall times when we were quite young visiting at your house. Your Dad has a very memorable laugh, and it makes me laugh thinking about it. May the great memories be with you. Jon and Shirl Leinen
Rest in peace my friend. It was always a pleasure to spend time with you.
May God be with you.
Our deepest sympathies to Larry’s family. We loved visiting with Larry and Marlene when they drove up to George. We would meet out at John and Betty’s farm and Larry would walk in with that big smile and infectious laugh. The trip from Sigourney to Northwest Iowa took a few days because Larry would have to stop and look at machinery, visit with people when they stopped to eat. It seemed he could never get enough of Iowa’s history and we could never get enough of Larry’s stories of their trip to George. We loved him and miss those days. Your are all in our thoughts and prayers, Merle and Patty Gronewold
A beautiful and strong American tree has been lost. I loved my Uncle Larry dearly. He set fine examples of fortitude and love of life. Our deepest sympathies to his family and friends. His spirit lives in me always.
