Bailey Joy Somers

MOUNT PLEASANT - Bailey Joy Somers, 2, of Mount Pleasant died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at her home in Mount Pleasant.

Bailey was born October 17, 2020, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Jennefer Childress and Brandan Somers.

She is survived by her parents, siblings: Mia Karstens, Deklan Karstens, Tristan Featherstun, Gabriel Featherstun; grandparents: David Childress, Keetah Featherstun, Michael Somers, Rebecca Somers, Crystal Childress, Marcus Jansson and Kevin Posey.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4:00 pm Saturday, November 12, 2022, at the Masonic Lodge at 206 W Main St. in Mount Pleasant. Those in attendance are encouraged to wear Bob’s Burgers apparel. Memorials may be directed to the family. The Olson-Powell Memorial Chapel is caring for Bailey and her family.
